The price was right. Smaller than they look in picures

I could not pass up trying these when I could get two pair for the less that I would pay for one of the big name brands.

First off a lot of assembly required. They don't come out of the box as shown in the photos. Each J is actually two parts you have to bolt together.

I was a little disappointing when I opened the boxes, much smaller with much thinner tubing that the pictures make them look. After assembling them and trying them out they are holding up and doing the job I needed them for.

The only real problem I have had so far is the straps it came with. The straps are a very poor design, trying to thread the strap though the buckle is nearly impossible under good conditions, but over your head with cold hands.... I had to throw them away and spend another $20 for a set of 4 ratcheting straps. (Caution if you use ratchet straps with these be careful not to over tighten, you could easily break the racks).
They also came with no instructions on how to use the straps, I had to travel to a local hardware store to see a similar design and ask how to thread it properly.

these fit really nice on my SUV. they hold the kayaks nicely while driving twisty roads and bumps. i already praised the price

Sturdy and easy to install. These work great. I would buy this product again. These make transporting the kayaks easy.
