Does not fit aero bars. BEWARE!!!
By Michael Durkin
This 834 hull port does not fit the Thule aero bars. An Xadapt11 kit is needed. This kit does not seem to exist any longer. I can't find it anywhere online or in stores. REI can't even get it. I've wasted my money and now need a new setup. Thanks for nothing but a headache.

Too much work, instbility issues
By Sensual Satine
I have an sUV, so it requires a step-stool to load it. It is "wiggily" no matter how much I tighten it. My kayak is 35# and under 7ft. I took it to REI and the installer agreed it was wiggily, but it was loaded correctly. I took my car to the dealership and they double-checked the factory-installed bars and said all was good.
Think I'm going to try strapping boat directly to my crossbars bc it is a pain to put on/off. (I can't drive into my garage with them on - too high) Also, it leaves a "dent" on the side of my boat. I've tried moving boat up/down and even flipping cockpit toward the padded side... (I have a Fluid detox)
Plus, one of the caps on the bars was missing when I got it...

Easy Install
By Texasnomads
The hull a port installed on my Xsporter pick up rack very easy. AFTER I had to order extra bolts for $9. Never saw on the Thule website or Amazon for that matter when I ordered both together that I needed this. Shouldn't they come with the needed hardware. $9= one star. All in all works as advertised.
